This event will address the Obama Administration’s effort to fund and expand what works in education in order to develop cutting-edge practices that will sustain the next generation of education reforms. Secretary Duncan will be joined by Jim Shelton, assistant deputy secretary for innovation and improvement, and both will brief stakeholders on the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA)-funded $650 million Investing in Innovation (i3) Fund.
